RyLee Madison is an award-winning singer/songwriter from
Halifax, Nova Scotia, who now makes her home in Nashville, TN.
With eight radio singles in Canada, her music has been heard
throughout Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. She has had
several of her songs recorded by other artists across Canada and in
2003 RyLee
was the 7th most played female on Canadian country
radio. She has toured Canada, France and Ireland, has
had her memorabilia displayed at the Hank Snow Country Music Hall
Of Fame in Nova Scotia and is the recipient of the Helping Hands
Humanitarian Award as a result of her service during Hurricane
Katrina disaster relief.
An honest songwriter, RyLee's music and voice speak to the heart with accessible lyrics drawn deeply from her own personal life experiences. Her love for the song and the craft of writing, combined with her desire to encourage the creative community, also led her to develop her Behind The Song Cafe. As a live show, RyLee has presented the BTSC at different venues in the U.S., Canada & Ireland and recently developed it into a podcast, which is now available on through this site and on iTunes.
